We celebrated the conclusion of a special six-week coding program offered through District 194 community education. At Code Hero Academy, we believe that if students are not having fun, they are not learning at their full potential.
What Students Learned
Students participated in several coding disciplines:
- Scratch-based coding and game development
- LEGO robotics programming
- Microbit block coding
- Sphero motion and event handling
- Ozobot color-based coding

We were blown away at the level of interest that the kids showed in jumping into the challenges and for their determined efforts to solve them. Their enthusiasm and persistence made every session exciting.
