Celebrating International Women's Day 2022

International Women's Day Celebration

We acknowledge the pivotal contributions of women to advancement of computing and technology.

Pioneers of Computing

The history of computing is filled with remarkable women who made groundbreaking contributions:

  • Ada Lovelace designed the first algorithm that was executed on a computer, making her the world's first computer programmer.
  • Grace Hopper designed the first compiler ever, revolutionizing how we write and execute programs.

Our Code Hero Women

We recognize our amazing teachers—Suzanne, Karla, and Briana—for sharing their commitment to inspiring students in technology.

We also celebrate student achievers like Esha, who beat the odds, worked really hard and won top prizes in coding competitions.

Breaking the Mold

Despite the underrepresentation of women in technology leadership, we remain committed to helping women break the mold and lead the way to a safer, peaceful and progressive world.

"The future of technology needs diverse voices and perspectives. We're committed to empowering the next generation of women leaders in tech."
